I have a wealth of experience in the building services industry with particular expertise in plumbing & heating and HVAC.

My main areas of expertise are in the domestic to small commercial sector, for which I can provide consultation and/or CAD drawing services.

  • Joined an award-winning local plumbing and heating company (Mitchell Plumbing & Heating) Eastbourne, East Sussex in 1999.
  • Enrolled on City & Guilds Plumbing and Heating apprenticeship programme in 1999, at Sussex Downs College, Eastbourne.
  • Awarded Apprentice of the Year two years running 2000 and 2001.
  • Promoted to a managerial role within Mitchell Plumbing & Heating 2005, covering all aspects of running the business.
Main responsibilities within the business included:
    • Overseeing team of engineers and sub-contractors
    • Quality assurance and technical duties
    • Providing consultancy and solutions
    • Liaising with site managers and customers
    • Managing all aspects of projects through to completion
    • Attending site meetings
    • Utilising labour and materials effectively
    • Ensuring timescales were met
    • Estimating to final invoice stage on completion of projects
    • Dealing with suppliers

I later bought a part shareholding within the company under the title of Operations Director, in 2007. Since then to the present day my role has become more involved with the above mentioned. In 2016 I decided to start my own business in building services, focussing on CAD and incorporating draughting services across a wider variety of work areas.
